What's
New with Tally ees 6.3 ?
The Technology Advantage of Tally.
Tally now incorporates major breakthroughs in enabling customers to benefit from collaborative technology such as protocol support for HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, ODBC, and Raw Sockets with data interchange formats like XML, HTML, HTML with XML islands, SOAP, SDF and related formats, PKI enablement for multiple parallel or counter electronic signatures, rule-based collaboration supporting export, upload and synchronization.
A small sampling of potential applications of Tally's collaborative technology
:
-
A company making a purchase order can automatically transmit
this electronically to the supplier, where it transforms into a Sales Order. Similarly, when the supply is made, the corresponding Sales Invoice it transmits becomes a purchase invoice for the buyer. A completely paperless, yet, authenticated collaborative environment gets created, fulfilling legal and traditional requirements. This can dramatically improve co-ordination of operations because of the rapid integration of
information across the organization.
-
A company with multiple branches, could synchronize their data and get all or selective information available at all points at any time.
-
Companies could connect to their bank and update their accounts online into Tally. They can do true real-time banking, like doing an entry that becomes a payment voucher for the firms' accounting system in Tally, which also acts as payment instructions for their banks, and can then
be used to do reconciliation of their accounts with the bank's records. All with a single entry in a single interface.
