Use Optional, Reversing journals and Memorandum vouchers in ‘what if’ fashion, to create different views of management information. For example, use Optional Vouchers to record provisional sales and view them alongside actuals to get a picture of the direction your sales will take. Use this feature for forecasting and planning. Prepare reports including provisional figures without affecting actual accounts using reversing journals that automatically reverse. This is useful for reporting interim statements.
